About
Letty is a writer and performer, based in a tiny pink house in Brighton. She writes across multiple genres and recently landed the Fish Short Story Prize, judged by Sarah Hall and a Northern Writers ‘Northern Promise’ Award. Other snazzy accolades include The Bridport Prize and Mslexia, and her short films have been shown at BAFTA, LOCO & Aesthetica Film Festival.
Letty’s always got multiple projects on the bubble due to a low boredom threshold. She’s just finished her debut novel, and is now working on her first collection of short fiction, as well as promoting her first non fiction book The Jobbing Actor: A coaching programme for actors.
When she’s not working she’s probably doing The Camino, sitting in a dark auditorium, bargain-hunting in North Laine, reading tarot cards, dancing, learning something, laughing at something or cooking/eating/chatting with people she really likes.
Letty’s repped by Alexander Cochran at Greyhound Literary for writing, Kirk Whelan-Foran at United Agents for acting and Kate Davie at United Voices for audio.
